I love this activity- and so did the kids. To make a name plate with raised letters- Funshine Express suggested "writing" their names with glue. Then the children placed a paper over their name plates and used crayons to rub and reveal their names.
Funshine provides tracing objects-- circles last month and triangles for this month.
They also share a great play dough recipe- that is my now GO TO DOUGH. It is fail-proof and makes the softest dough I've ever made. (Click HERE and you can see our scientific observation comparing two different types of dough. One using cream of tartar and one without.)
