Apple Day!

Funshine Express- suggested many fun activities to do with Apples. Lucky for my preschool- one of my students has a few fruit trees in his yard, so we were able to take a quick walking field trip.

I was so glad for our craft today of apple prints- I didn't have to cut edible apples from the store! The kids enjoyed picking up the dropped apples. We compared apple colors and sizes.

We looked at the anatomy of an apple. Then we sliced them open and used them to stamp.

Funshine suggested using these craft supplies to make a collage of animal habitats.
I modified the craft to enhance our apple prints- to make apple trees.

As you can see- the kids really enjoyed the embellishments and were proud of their finished products.
