What is Book Club Round Up? ( This is a new feature)
We would like to spotlight all you who help educate children and promote reading. We want to give you a place to share ideas, tips and great books with each other and be inspired! To help- I've signed up with Mister Linky to facilitate the logistics of linking several people on one post.
How do I participate?
If you :
host a book club for children
help your child read
home school
are a teacher or librarian
are an author of children's books
are some kind of advocate for children's literacy
and have a blog or website that addresses the issue we post about-you can contribute!
It can be a simple idea or a complete lesson plan.
Just fill in your name and direct link (to your Book Club Round Up post) in the Mister Linky box at the bottom of the post. Only leave a link if your post relates to the topic for that week on our Book Club Round Up. Be sure to grab a Round Up button from the side bar and add it to your post. (This is required or your post will be deleted. Copy the code, then when you are posting on your blog/site add the code in HTML mode, the button will magically appear and automatically link back here!)
Am I required to use the "Book Club Round Up" Button in my post?
Not at all, you can mention the Book Club Round Up in your post and link it yourself manually.
( I do ask that if you participate, you link back to the specific post here as a courtesy.)
Thanks for participating and inspiring us with your creative ideas and tips!

Hi there,
My blogs involves literacy for children (making reading fun etc) as well as general writing issues. I would love to participate since I am a children's author and literacy is one topic I write about a lot. How do I find out what the topic is each week?
